Advanced Beginner: 2.75 – 2.99
An advanced beginner understands the basic rules, scoring, and fundamentals of pickleball and is beginning to play more consistently. These players can sustain short rallies, are developing shot control, and are starting to understand court positioning and game strategy.
Intermediate: 3.0 – 3.99
Intermediate players demonstrate improved consistency, ball control, and footwork. They can sustain longer rallies, execute a wider variety of shots, and understand doubles strategy and partner positioning. These players are becoming more confident in competitive and recreational match play.
Advanced: 4.0+
Advanced players exhibit a high level of consistency, control, athleticism, and strategic awareness. They can execute shots effectively under pressure, adapt to different playing styles, communicate well with partners, and compete at a high level in tournament or advanced recreational play.

Cancellation & Refund Policy
North & South America Trips
At the time of booking, an initial deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Final payment is due 90 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Schedule
91 days or more prior to departure:
50% refund of the initial deposit
90 to 61 days prior to departure:
25% refund of total payments made
60 days or fewer prior to departure:
No refunds
Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund of prior payments made.
European Trips
At the time of booking, an initial deposit is required to secure your reservation.
Final payment is due 120 days prior to departure.
Cancellation Schedule
More than 120 days prior to departure:
25% refund of the initial deposit
119 to 61 days prior to departure:
25% refund of total payments made
60 days or fewer prior to departure:
No refunds
Failure to submit final payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your reservation without refund of prior payments made.
Travel Protection
Platinum Pickleball Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes:
Trip cancellation
Trip interruption
Medical expenses
Emergency evacuation
Lost or delayed baggage
Cancellation Procedures
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email. Refund eligibility is determined based on the date written notice is received.
Force Majeure
Platinum Pickleball Travel shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, weather events, strikes, pandemics, or supplier/vendor disruptions.

1. General Disclaimer
Platinum Pickleball Travel acts solely as an independent organizer and seller of travel-related services, including accommodations, transportation, activities, excursions, and instruction provided by third-party vendors.
We are not responsible for delays, cancellations, schedule changes, weather conditions, natural disasters, acts of God, political unrest, pandemics, government restrictions, labor disputes, transportation interruptions, supplier failures, or any other events beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, substitute, postpone, or cancel any portion of a trip or itinerary when deemed necessary for safety, operational, or logistical reasons.
Refunds, credits, or compensation for such changes are solely at the discretion of Platinum Pickleball Travel and subject to vendor recovery policies.
2. Assumption of Risk
Participants understand and acknowledge that travel and athletic activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Physical injury
Illness or disease
Transportation accidents
Property loss or theft
Weather-related hazards
Food or water-related illness
Equipment failure
Acts of third parties
International travel risks
Death
Participation in all activities is voluntary, and each Participant knowingly and freely assumes all associated risks.
3. Activity Participation
Platinum Pickleball Travel is not liable for injuries, accidents, illnesses, losses, or damages resulting from participation in any activities during the trip, including but not limited to:
Pickleball
Hiking
Water sports
Horseback riding
Cycling
Ziplining
Fitness activities
Excursions
Optional activities
Participants are responsible for determining their own physical fitness and ability to safely participate.
4. Transportation & Flights
Platinum Pickleball Travel is not responsible for:
Flight delays or cancellations
Missed connections
Lost or delayed baggage
Airline schedule changes
Transportation interruptions
Immigration or customs delays
If travel delays cause a Participant to miss a scheduled group departure, transfer, or activity, the Participant is solely responsible for arranging and paying for alternative transportation and accommodations.
5. Hotels, Resorts & Third-Party Providers
We carefully select reputable hotels, resorts, instructors, transportation providers, and vendors; however, Platinum Pickleball Travel is not responsible for accidents, injuries, damages, losses, theft, maintenance issues, or service failures caused by third-party providers.
Participants should immediately notify both hotel staff and Platinum Pickleball Travel regarding any safety or service concerns.
6. Theft, Loss & Personal Property
Platinum Pickleball Travel is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including but not limited to:
Passports
Identification
Electronics
Luggage
Jewelry
Cash
Sporting equipment
Personal valuables
Participants are solely responsible for safeguarding their personal property throughout the trip.
7. Health & Medical Responsibility
Participants acknowledge that travel and athletic participation may expose them to physical exertion, environmental conditions, allergens, illnesses, and medical risks.
Platinum Pickleball Travel is not responsible for:
Illness
Allergic reactions
Food or water-related conditions
Sunburn or heat-related illness
Insect bites
Injuries
Medical emergencies
Participants are responsible for consulting with a physician regarding their fitness for travel and participation.
Participants are also responsible for obtaining any necessary vaccinations, medications, travel documentation, or medical insurance.
8. Event Changes & Cancellations
Platinum Pickleball Travel reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, substitute instructors, or modify itineraries due to:
Low enrollment
Safety concerns
Instructor availability
Vendor issues
Weather conditions
Force majeure events
Operational necessities
If an event is canceled directly by Platinum Pickleball Travel prior to departure, Participants may receive either:
A travel credit, or
A refund limited to recoverable amounts from vendors and suppliers
No refunds will be issued for circumstances outside our control.
9. Pricing & Trip Adjustments
Trip pricing is based on current exchange rates, fuel costs, taxes, resort fees, transportation costs, and vendor pricing at the time of publication.
Platinum Pickleball Travel reserves the right to adjust trip pricing prior to final payment due to significant increases in operational or supplier costs.
Such adjustments do not constitute grounds for penalty-free cancellation.
10. Camp Instructors & Staff
Our instructors and hosts are carefully selected to provide an exceptional experience. However, Platinum Pickleball Travel reserves the right to substitute instructors, coaches, guides, or staff members at any time due to unforeseen circumstances.
Instructor substitutions do not constitute grounds for cancellation or refund.
11. Participant Responsibility
Participants must:
Be at least 18 years of age, or
Be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
Participants are responsible for complying with:
Local laws
Resort policies
Safety instructions
Activity guidelines
Travel requirements
Platinum Pickleball Travel reserves the right to remove any Participant from a trip without refund for behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, illegal, abusive, or harmful to the experience of others.
12. Photo & Video Release
By participating in a trip or event, Participants grant Platinum Pickleball Travel permission to use photographs, videos, and other media captured during the trip for marketing, advertising, promotional, and social media purposes without compensation.
Participants may opt out in writing prior to departure.
13. Travel Insurance Recommendation
Platinum Pickleball Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that includes:
Trip cancellation
Trip interruption
Medical coverage
Emergency evacuation
Lost baggage coverage
Travel insurance is the Participant’s responsibility.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Platinum Pickleball Travel, its owners, affiliates, employees, contractors, instructors, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from participation in any trip, activity, or event.
By participating, the Participant agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless Platinum Pickleball Travel from claims arising from risks inherent to travel and recreational activities.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
Any disputes arising from participation in a Platinum Pickleball Travel event or trip shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located within the State of Texas.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By submitting payment, registering for a trip, or participating in any Platinum Pickleball Travel event, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and voluntarily agreed to these Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver in full.
